Smallest Decline in Car Output in October

Smallest Decline in Car Output in October The month of October was the first month this year to see the smallest decline in the production of new cars in the United Kingdom. And although the output of new cars fell by an estimated 6.7 percent, while comparing with the October last year, it was the smallest annual decline recorded. As per data delivered by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT in short), some 106,400 new cars were produced last month. This sort of minimum boost in output figures is mostly seen as the continuing impact of the government's scrappage scheme. Also, there seems to be the first signs of recovery in global markets. Both those business facts are helping to drive production of new cars. So far the government aid, in the form of the scrappage scheme and its extension, has had an impact on the motor industry in the Isles and helped automakers to have a breather in such hard times. The positive news coming from the global markets are seen as a secondary importance by market analysts. There are also weak signs on the side of many enterprises across the United Kingdom saying they are willing to change their fleets in the coming year. This should give another boost and stimulus resulting in an increase of a numbers of new cars in the market.
