Prices of Second-Hand Cars Down

If you are some kind of analyst and assess the general economic situation by looking at the automotive market and observing trends, you may be surprised to see that prices of used cars have now fallen for the third month in a row. This fact is confirmed by the data delivered by organisations and companies dealing with auctions and resale of used cars, BCA and Mannheim among them. The statistics show that the average price of a second-hand vehicle was at a level of 5,900 pounds in November which is around 120 pounds, or two percent, less than in the previous month. The funny fact is that the number of new and used cars sold in both October and November was nearly the same. So now it seems to be the high time for looking round for bargains in the market of used cars. And this sales trend reflected in falling prices is seen in two ways. Sales people dealing with used buys admit that it is a regular pattern occurring every year with prices going up in September and falling towards the end of year. Market analysts, on the contrary, take it as a good sign and a signal of economic revival coming back and the end of recession as people move again towards buying new machines.
